Despite being considered one of the founders of the Impressionist movement, the painter explained that he preferred to be recognized realistically by rejecting the term. [1] Degas, whose technique was a successful painter, was recognized with more dance-themed paintings. He was interested in more than half of his dancers. These studies also showed the mastery of the representation of his movement. It was also successful in racing horse races and naked women as well as dancing. Degas wanted to be a painter working on historical themes at the beginning of his career. For this reason he received a rigorous academic education and studied classical art.
